This month the Hoops Player Spotlight shines on
Quentin Hart!

Quentin began playing basketball with the Herndon Optimist Youth Basketball Travel Team in the sixth grade. He began training with Coach Ken the summer of his 7th-grade year, and has made and continues to make significant progress towards his basketball goals because of HTRW. He began playing for the Herndon High School Hornets as a freshman and won the Sportsmanship Award for the 2016-2017 Season. He is now one of only two sophomores selected for the HHS Varsity Team for the 2017-2018 season.

Quentin continues to play for Hoops the Right Way’s Developmental Team during the offseason and volunteers as an assistant to Coach Ken during the HTRW Summer Camps.

Quentin performs well academically. He was awarded the Meritorious Achievement Award by the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity for maintaining a grade point average above 3.0.
