This month we continue to spotlight our seniors — and this shout out goes to Ian Walker (pictured above, back row, second player from left).

Ian Walker, a senior at Briar Woods High School, has trained and played with Hoops the Right Way since middle school. He and his HTRW teammates have played together for over 6 years — and 4 of his HTRW teammates were also teammates on the Briar Woods High School team. At Briar, Ian has played 4 years (2 on varsity), advancing to the second round of the district playoffs when he was a starting forward as a junior. Initially, Ian split time between basketball and soccer, converting to a full time basketball player three years ago.  Ian loves basketball (and his NY Knicks), and looks forward to playing either club or intramural hoops in college.

As of this writing, Ian was undecided on his college selection as he awaits decisions from a number of schools.
